Apparently, one of the best airlines to fly with in terms of environmental efforts is SAS Scandinavian airlines. They are working on replacing their non-sustainable fuels with more sustainable biofuels. There are plenty of other airlines that are falling under the pressure of new, more sustainable demands. It is worth reading about.

This weekend I brought my partially filled Eco Brick off campus to show my mom and friends as an attempt to spread the message. I also posted on instagram to try get people that follow me to follow the movement either by making the bricks themselves or by giving me their 2L bottles and non-renewable waste.

They have installed a composting bin outside of my school here at hostel. So all I had to do is get a bin for my room where i can separate my organic waste from my general waste. So for as long as I'm here it won't be hard to compost!

one of the big points I have been trying to make with reducing my food waste is also making use of the food waste that I do end up leaving. For example salad leaves, pulp and peels i cut up and put on my plants. Im also really wanting to get going with some composting.

I have brought this challenge into several aspects of my life and am planning to in general only use long lasting materials as much as possible. It is quite hard since everything bought in stores is practically wrapped in single use plastic.

Today I am going to town to buys some stuff for the week. My goal for today is to try to only buy reusable materials and of course, use my school bag as a shopping bag instead of getting plastic bags. I also hope to make an influence on the people that I am going with..
